Mohammad, the Voice of the World’s Children for Peace
At the age of five, Mohammad left his homeland with his father and began a turbulent journey.
Five critical months in Turkey, six attempts to cross the sea in an inflatable boat, and six hours battling storm and rain before reaching the Greek island of Lesbos — this was only the beginning of his story.
Hardship and Resilience
Mohammad endured 19 months in the harsh conditions of Moria and Kara Tepe refugee camps on Lesbos.
He spent five nights in a thin tent in the freezing weather of Schisto Camp in Athens — until he became seriously ill.
Yet, his spirit never broke.
During these two and a half years, he befriended children from many countries and discovered that they all shared one wish: Peace.
A Journey of Hope
The next destination was Switzerland — Zurich, Basel, Gais, and Herisau.
After four years of life in Switzerland and seven and a half years of separation, Mohammad finally reunited with his mother.
A Question That Became a Book
Mohammad has witnessed hardships no child should ever experience.
He often asked himself:
“Why do wars never stop?”
That question led him to write his book:
“Mohammad’s Book: Eight Billion Voices for World Peace” —
letters to world leaders from the heart of a 12-year-old boy, written with purity and honesty.

Mohammad’s Message
Mohammad wants to be the voice of all children — those living through war, poverty, and injustice.
He believes that if world leaders truly listen to the voices of children, we can build a world free of war.
This is Mohammad’s story. His voice is the voice of eight billion people for peace.
